In January this year, ERTICO launched the ITS European Congress Webinar Series to inform and engage the ITS community on the Congress that will take place in Lisbon on 22-24 May under the theme of ITS: The Game Changer. The audience will get an insight into some of the exciting topics that will be addressed there in different ways – through panel discussions, technical presentations, exhibitions, etc. They will also have the chance to interact with some of the influential innovators who will attend the Congress and bring their ideas and solutions to the high-level and technical sessions and the exhibition and demonstration area.
The topics of the webinar series will reflect the themes of this year’s ITS European Congress: CCAM, Cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM); New mobility services; Freight & Logistics; Digitalisation and the data value chain; Future traffic management.
The first webinar will take place on 26 January 2023 from 14:00 – 15:15 CET on the topic of CCAM. ERTICO experts will be joined by members of the European Commission, DG for Research and Innovation, exhibiting partner Ubiwhere and ERTICO partner CTAG to discuss the role of infrastructure, standards, regulation, piloting, and services and technologies related to CCAM.
To kick-offt this Webinar Series, ERTICO CEO, Joost VANTOMME will welcome participants to this first session, followed by Lisa Boch-Andersen, Director of Communications, Congresses & Events at ERTICO, who will present a birds-eye view of the Lisbon Congress. The discussion on CCAM will be introduced by Stephane Dreher, I&D Senior Manager at ERTICO – ITS Europe who will also moderate the panel which will be joined by: Andrea De Candido, Future Urban and Mobility Systems Policy Officer at European Commission, DG RTD – Ramping up the CCAM activities in Europe; Ricardo Vitorino, Smart Cities Research & Innovation Manager at Ubiwhere – Suiting the future of urban mobility; Francisco Sanchez Pons, Electronics, ITS & Smart Mobility Director at CTAG – Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia – Last-mile CCAM solutions for future urban mobility.
